Purva Aggarwal present us her START UP PROJECT : Good Good Piggy

At 123 Next Generation, we know that learning soft skills is a lifelong process.

Good financial management is one of the skills essential to the personal and professional development of each of us.

I am pleased to introduce myself, Purva Aggarwal, founder of Good Good Piggy, an ed-fintech start-up that helps tweens learn digital money management.

Why did you become an entrepreneur?

I wanted to get out of the corporate box and contribute to something bigger than me in this world. Highlighting high impact, my invention will support the financial inclusion industry, enabled 8 of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.

You in 3 words?

Creative, dynamic and diligent.

A special story to share as a young entrepreneur?

I gave my nephew a piggy bank of London and very excited he went around the room asking people to put coins in his piggy bank. Much to his disappointment, in the world of fintech no one had coins to donate and put in the piggy bank and that led me to this white space to reinvent a very popular tool, and in fact the oldest tool financial education, the piggy bank and contribute to digital financial inclusion.

A message you want to convey to companies?

We are at the dawn of the 21st century and we should go beyond disgruntled customers and emerging technologies to say that we are disruptive but welcome towards purpose and impact for a good tomorrow.

Any advice for young entrepreneurs?

Rejecting the do or die mentality and chess are stepping stones to seeing the bigger horizon and, of course, knowing your numbers and the underlying narrative.
